Ingredients
100% ceremonial matcha green tea (stone-ground leaves), from Kyoto, Japan.
How to Prepare
Carefully open the pouch and pour the contents into your matcha tin or an airtight container. Reseal tightly after each use.
Traditional Matcha (Usucha)
- Add 2 tsp (approx. 2g) of matcha to a bowl.
- Pour in 30ml hot water (60°C).
- Whisk in a zig-zag motion until smooth and frothy.
- Add 50ml hot water (80°C).
- Whisk briefly and enjoy slowly.
Matcha Latte
- Add 3 tsp (approx. 3g) matcha to a bowl.
- Pour in 30ml hot water (60°C).
- Whisk until smooth.
- Add 100ml milk of choice.
- Stir or froth until creamy.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. For maximum freshness, transfer the matcha into an airtight tin after opening and reseal the pouch tightly between uses.
